{"id":851,"date":"2012-11-23T01:29:03","date_gmt":"2012-11-22T19:29:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/educaticudima.com\/?p=851"},"modified":"2015-12-03T12:55:32","modified_gmt":"2015-12-03T12:55:32","slug":"diferencias-entre-mooc-y-ocw","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.udima.es\/educatic\/diferencias-entre-mooc-y-ocw\/","title":{"rendered":"Diferencias entre MOOC y OCW"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Los conceptos <a title=\"OCW\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/OpenCourseWare\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">OCW<\/a> (OpenCourseWare) y <a title=\"MOOC\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Massive_open_online_course\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">MOOC<\/a> (Massive open online course) tienen un cierto grado de solapamiento que puede llevar a la conclusi\u00f3n err\u00f3nea de que son t\u00e9rminos sin\u00f3nimos. Con el objeto de clarificar y delimitar el significado de cada t\u00e9rmino, se procede a continuaci\u00f3n a definir cada uno de los t\u00e9rminos. Tras lo cual, se termina exponiendo expl\u00edcitamente sus diferencias.<\/p>\n<p>Un OCW es un movimiento que consiste en la publicaci\u00f3n en Internet de los materiales docentes de una asignatura junto con las estrategias docentes llevadas a cabo durante el curso. Es un concepto an\u00e1logo al exitoso movimiento <a title=\"Open Source\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Open_source\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Open Source<\/a>, donde la clave es que los autores ceden los derechos de los contenidos totalmente o bajo ciertas condiciones (ver los t\u00e9rminos <a title=\"Copyleft\" href=\"http:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Copyleft\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">copyleft<\/a> y <a title=\"Creative Commons\" href=\"http:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Creative_Commons\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Creative Commons<\/a> para mayor informaci\u00f3n). En la actualidad, el OCW est\u00e1 principalmente orientado a educaci\u00f3n superior, especialmente la universitaria, pero sin competir con ella (generalmente no se obtienen certificados oficiales o derechos de acceso a una universidad). Es decir, es una v\u00eda para potenciar el conocimiento, el aprendizaje a lo largo de la vida (<a title=\"Lifelong Learning\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Lifelong_learning\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">LLL<\/a>, LifeLong Learning) y la colaboraci\u00f3n entre docentes.<\/p>\n<p><strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Un MOOC es un tipo de curso online que se caracteriza por la masiva participaci\u00f3n\u00a0 de alumnos y su car\u00e1cter abierto (cualquier persona puede acceder a \u00e9l de forma gratuita). Similarmente a un OCW, no se suelen obtener cr\u00e9ditos acad\u00e9micos ni certificaciones oficiales de tipo universitario. No obstante, actualmente existen propuestas para que sean recocidos con cr\u00e9ditos oficiales [1].<\/p>\n<p>De las definiciones proporcionadas y apoy\u00e1ndonos en [2], podemos establecer las siguiente diferencias entre un OCW y un MOOC :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>En un MOOC los participantes experimentan y se involucran a diferentes niveles en la actividad docente y en el aprendizaje. En este sentido un participante puede ser un alumno inscrito en el curso que experimenta una acci\u00f3n de aprendizaje viva y din\u00e1mica con interacciones con otros alumnos, materiales, entregas de ejercicios, foros, etc. Pero tambi\u00e9n, un participante podr\u00eda ser un docente que ayuda al desarrollo del curso.<\/li>\n<li>En un OCW no hay realmente una experiencia din\u00e1mica y vida de la acci\u00f3n docente o de aprendizaje.
