Aunque su estructura se describi\u00f3 hace m\u00e1s de ochenta a\u00f1os, fue aislado por primera vez en 2004 y en \u00e9l descansa una buena parte de las expectativas para el cambio tecnol\u00f3gico, ya que sus aplicaciones potenciales son enormes, Ahora, y por primera vez, uno de sus descubridores, Kostya Novoselov, (el otro fue Andre Geim y ambos recibieron por ello el Nobel de F\u00edsica en 2010), traza en la revista Nature una \u00abhoja de ruta del grafeno\u00bb. O lo que es lo mismo, explica c\u00f3mo este material bidimensional va a cambiar por completo nuestras vidas, (o por lo menos eso es lo que desean).
